Thank God for my parents, who came to visit little Giovy in the nick of time. My sister Katie and her husband Nic just left, as well as Robb leaving my parents for another week. They really have been a lifesaver, creating pauses for Emma and I to sleep, relax, go to meetings, etc. We pretty much hit a wall after two weeks of having Giovy and were walking around like zombies feeling like we'd never make it back to normality. Then came the grandparents. We're gonna miss'em but we've also got Emma's family here too who will be a great help.

Raining plums
Quick funny story. So my whole family has been visiting us in Romania for the past couple of days. Dad, Mom, Katie and Nic and Robb. It's always pretty interesting because of the language barrier. My parents know a few words, Emma's parents know a few words so most of the time they just repeat those words combined with hand movements to communicate. The fact that we're all family unites everybody though and somehow communication happens. Yesterday we had lunch at Emma's parents and they decided to arrange the table under some trees for shade's sake, which was great since there is no AC anywhere and any amount of coolness is very welcomed. The thing is, these were plum trees that were totally ripe and so Nic got bombarded by plums during the meal (I got hit too). Since they break off of the stem and are ripe, they leak all over and stain. Sorry Nic :(

Entrance fee :)
Now that we are a part of the blogging community, we have really enjoyed frequenting all of your blogs too. I never thought that I would become a blogger just because daily rituals have always been a struggle for me. However, the arrival of my wonderful daughter has compelled me to want to share her with all of you and in the process I stumbled upon all of your blogs. Thanks for warm welcome.
