Sorry guys. Our house has been without furniture as we wait for it to come in July. Thus, I have been a poor blogger. That excuse really doesn't hold up, because I could blog without a desk, just as I am right now, but I do need a little bit of sympathy from you. It has been rather difficult for Emma and I to integrate back into things here, especially since we were gone for a longer period of time, and we immediatly began some work on our apartment and thus have not actually felt "at home" until about 3 days ago.
Anyways, we love you guys and miss you. We are looking forward to an awesome summer as we put all of our efforts into investing in the young people of our church.
Take care and look forward to better blogging in the future.

Sorry to keep you waiting :)
We have officially and technically arrived back in Romania, however, we aren't yet home completely. We are renovating our apartment currently and there is dust everywhere. The communist apartment that we live in was made by Romania's past ruler Ceaucescu, and it was made quick and poorly. Thus we have crooked walls and holey ceilings.
So alas, we are stipping it all down and straightening it all out, painting and sanding, and in the mean time, staying at the inlaws :)
Expect more frequent posts from me now, as I have felt convicted for not posting often enough.

Emma is Driving!!!
That's right. Emma not only aced her written test, she also nailed the driving test (on the second time; but the first time was my (chad's) fault because I forgot to tell her to look over her shoulder when changing lanes, and I got the hand signs wrong too; she should have got a real teacher I guess; oh well).
So keep your kids off the streets for a few days, until we leave the country.

A Tribute to our friends
These are the people who have taken us into their homes, spent time with us, let us in their lives and encouraged us during our time here in the statesTo all of you, we are in debt
You have helped make our time here easier, and now because of you, we are torn in leaving...our mixed emotions are your fault, and we wont let you forget that
We love you guys

Our Team

Our Team is awesome. We call our team the "Dream Team". I'm referring to the group of individuals in Romania that have chosen to give their lives to Christ and join the family of God, but who also have decided that life in Christ is synonymous with complete surrender to God. They are the leaders of tomorrow. Many of them were just saved 1-2 years ago, and yet they are leading more people to Christ than I ever did or have ever seen for that matter. They are taking it upon themselves to chase old friends and rekindle relationships; they are not ashamed, on the contrary they are so proud to be counted among God's children. You cant stop them, you cant convince them that life in Christ is a hoax; they're already sold on God's love.
All you can do is release them...
That's exactly what we're doing in Romania...releasing leaders...world changers...normal people, who have been captured by God's love and can do nothing else but share it with others...this is our team...The Dream Team

No lines...the Mummy...King Kong...and Crowder

soherewego...This was Emma's first time to Universal Studios Hollywood, and what better setting than the threat of rain (just a threat) giving us virtually no lines to wait in. We joined up with great friends Bogie and Becca and Dave and Amanda Lebda as well as fellow Romanian missionary Allan Taylor
We saw King Kong, the Mummy, Wisteria Lane and Matt Damons parking spot. It was awesome!

areyoureadyformore...What made our day even better though was the David Crowder Band / Third Day concert that evening. Crowder rocked! I loved his "rock opera" "You are my joy". Emma snuck up into the expensive section to get this pic, cause we were chilling in the nose-bleeds; but that didn't affect the sound. Crowder, you're my hero.
